Everything You Need to Know

Who My Work Benefits

We are a world inundated with stuff. For that reason, I chose to make prints I believe will add beauty to people’s lives and that is well made. That’s why I work with the best printers and have chosen the best paper available to make a work of art that will last a long time.

I also believe in sharing my profits. In the past, I would make an annual donation of 10% of my profit from Coucou Atelier to support Blue Dragon, an NGO I began working with when I moved to Vietnam. Through my work, I met Vinh, a young woman who benefits from physical therapy, among other things, paid for by Blue Dragon. They are no longer supporting her so I am working to get her funds directly to help pay for her physical therapy. (My husband flew to Hanoi from Shanghai to visit her just before the pandemic but we are looking for more sustainable options to support Vinh!) She is my inspiration to be joyful, curious, and create beauty! Check out a video I made about her for her 25th birthday.

About the Photographs & Postales

I work with two U.S.-based small businesses that uphold rigorous quality and environmental standards. Their work always exceeds my expectations and I hope yours, too!

Photographs. Unless otherwise indicated, all prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, a gorgeous heavy-weight, museum-quality paper. I just love the lushness of the paper, and how it connects me to my early printmaking days. Plus, they will last a very long time. All prints have a white border around the image which means you can pop them in a frame and hang right away! Prints ship from the United States.

Prints that are 8x10 or 16x20 are not signed and are unlimited editions. All “statement” (24 x 30) prints are signed and offered as a limited edition.

Shipping

Prints. If you wish to order prints outside the continental US or Canada, please contact me for shipping pricing. International prices begin at $20.

For orders within the US, everything ships via USPS. Once your order is ready to ship, expect 2-7 business days to receive your order. If you need your order expedited, let me know when you place your order or send an email to hello[at]coucouhome.com.

Shipping within the continental United States is FREE and includes tracking and insurance.

Returns

All prints and products are final sale, non-returnable and non-exchangeable. If you have any questions about a print prior to ordering, please email me.

Any prints or postcards purchased on this site that are damaged in transit are eligible for replacement. I must receive written notification as well as photo documentation of damages within 20 days of receiving item. After 20 days, I will no longer replace an item. For postcards, due to machine processing at the post office, some smudging will occur. I will review and refund any damaged postcards on a case-by-case basis. Thank you!

Disclaimer

Prints. Please be advised that the prints you receive may appear slightly different than what you see on your screen. To keep prints consistent, I create a proof of each photograph that my printers use for reference. Gentle care should be taken of your prints. Framing is recommended.
